DU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2019

Admission will be done on the behalf of the score obtained by the candidate in the written test. The eligibility conditions are different on the basis of various factors such as Age Limit, Nationality, Education qualification etc. Only those candidates are eligible for the exam those candidates can fulfil the requirement of the university. Nationality – The admission seeker candidates must check the eligibility condition for the nationality. Candidates who have the Indian citizenship they are eligible for the DU B.Ed 2019. If you belong to any state then you are able to appear in the exam. Residence Certificate is mandatory to participate in the exam.

Foreign candidates are also eligible for the exam but they must have the proof of residence.

DU B.Ed Age Limit 2019

After the nationality, now, we come at the most important factor i.e. age limit.  The minimum candidate’s age should be 21 years as per requirement. The maximum age should not be more than 28 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserve category candidates as per government rules and regulation.

Important Note – Candidates who want to do B.Ed through distance under the Delhi University they don’t have any age limit requirement. The procedure of B.Ed through Distance is different so you can go through the notification once.

DU B.Ed Admission Procedure

DU B.Ed 2019 Education Qualification

Candidates should process the Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree from any recognized university. The eligible candidates must secure the at least 50% marks in the Bachelor/ Master Degree. Candidates must have to complete the degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other equivalent subjects.

Candidates who have done the Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering or Technology and specialization in Science and Mathematics they are eligible for the admission. The minimum marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are 55% marks.

The university will give 5% mark relaxation for other backward category and 10% marks for Widow and SC/ ST and PWD.

Foreigner Candidates must complete the Bachelor Degree for B.Ed admission. The separate merit list will be prepared by the university.

  • The date of filling the application form is starting from 2nd week of May 2019
  • The last date for submission of the application will be from 2nd week of June 2019

  • The university has announced the DU B.Ed Exam Date i.e. 4th week of June 2019
  • Candidates can check the B.Ed result online on website http://doe.du.ac.in/ in the first week of July 2019
  • Counselling procedure is starting from 2nd week of July 2019
