Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2019 will be organized by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) for the new session. It’s a state level examination for the engineering and pharmacy course admissions. GUJCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria has declared for those candidates who are seeking admission in the various government and private colleges. Candidates must have to go through the eligibility along with the term and condition which has mentioned by the board. On the behalf of the score in the exam, candidates can able to get admission in B.E/ B.Tech/ D.Pharmacy/ B.Pharmacy courses. GUJCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
As per the notification, the board will not change the eligibility. So the term and condition will remain same as per last year. The numbers of candidates are looking for the admission but before the registration, candidates can check the age limit, nationality, and education details. Nationality – Nationality is an important part to become an eligible for the exam. Candidates must have the citizenship of India. Other country candidates are not allowing for the written test.
Domicile – Candidates should have the domicile of the Gujarat State. Candidates who reside in the others state they are also eligible but you must have the domicile of Gujarat.
Eligibility for Engineering
If you want to apply for the engineering admission i.e. B.Tech/ B.E course then you should process the 12th class or its equivalent exam from Gujarat Board or other board such as CBSE, ICSE etc.
You must secure the 45% marks for General/ OBC category and 40% marks in case of SC/ ST and OBC. Candidates must have studied the Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects in the 12th class.
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam i.e. 12th class they can also fill the application form.
Eligibility for Pharmacy Course
For pharmacy course, you must pass the 12th class from the recognized board with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects. Candidates must secure the 45% marks for General/ OBC category and also 40% marks for the SC/ ST/ PWD.

GUJCET 2019 Syllabus
To secure the good marks in the written test, candidates have to prepare for the exam. Candidates are going to appear in the exam they can download the exam syllabus. As per syllabus, the question will cover the topics and chapters from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology subjects of 11th & 12th class.
This year, the board will conduct the exam through offline mode i.e. written test. 120 Multiple choice questions will be in the question paper. Candidates can choose any one language to attempt the paper. The language will be English, Hindi & Gujarati.
The question comes from the Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/ Biology sections. Each section will be having the 40 MCQ. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours. No extra time will be given to attempt the paper.
1 Mark will award for the correct answer. It means there will be 120 total marks. 0.25 marks will deduct for the incorrect answer.
