Karnataka DCET 2019 Eligibility

Applicants who are interested in admission to the engineering, as well as architecture courses, have to check that first, whether they are satisfying all the requirements or not. There are some requirements in which the participant has to be fulfilled to be eligible for this entrance test.

B.E. Day Engineering CoursesCandidates those who apply for the exam have minimum 45% scores taken together in all the subjects of final year, i.e. fifth and sixth-semester diploma exam or any other equivalent exam. For SC/ST/OBC participants of Karnataka, the least eligible percentage is 40% in the specific qualifying exam.

B.E. Part-TimeFor evening course, candidates should be passed the 3-year diploma course or any equivalent examination, i.e. fifth and sixth semester with minimum 45% of scores. For SC/ST/other backward participants, the minimum qualifying percentage must be scored is 40% in the certain qualifying exam.

Along with these above requirements, the applicants must also have minimum two years of full-time work experience in any reputed industry/firm/company/ and/government autonomous corporations in the major of engineering/ technology in which the applicant has done the diploma and aims for taking admission as well.

For B. Arch course– Applicant must be NATA qualified with a mark of minimum 40 scores in the exam. In addition to, they also want to have an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of the last year, i.e. 5th and 6th semester of diploma exam is eligible for admission to the 1st year B.Architecture course. For SC/ST and backward classes of Karnataka applicants, at least 45% marks are needed.

It is also noticed by the applicants that those who need to take admissions in this architecture program need not apply for the entrance test, but the NATA should be qualified.

  • SC/ST applicants of Karnataka- Rs. 500/-

How to fill the KEA DCET 2019 Online Application Form

  • First of all, candidates can do registration and begin the online application process.
  • You can enter the login credentials such as user ID and password as well as enter personal details such as nationality, category, caste, contact, academic, past DCET exam, if any and school details, etc.
